Who is m-eat!?
We were founded by Lisa Gardshol, a born-and-bred South African, and die-hard carnivore. After completing her business degree in UK, and working at M&S as a buyer, Lisa became a food entrepreneur, starting up The Savanna in London with her sister Marie.

It didn’t take her long to realise how incredibly fussy customers are about their biltong and rightly so. This is what inspired the creation of m-eat! So if you happen to be passing by one of her Savanna stores in London, be sure to ask for a taster.

When you try our biltong, you’ll realise how big a taste difference there is between our grass-fed beef from Scotland and anything else out in the market. So far so good, but we need our customers to keep helping to spread the good word.
